Inspired by 1980s synthpop bands such as Missing Persons and Berlin, Parsons/Archer isn't an attempt to evoke the music of the '80s -- it's an attempt to BE the music of the '80s. All songs are written in character as Los Angeles native and art-school dropout Danny D'Abruzzo, and reflect not only the musical influences she picked up in her journey from LA to New York to Berlin and back, but the themes and emotions that have colored her personal life.
